Deshazor Everett is in hospital with serious injuries after a fatal car accident

Deshazor Everett, a Washington Football Team defender, is in hospital after a car he was driving was involved in a fatal accident Thursday night.

Everett is said to have sustained “serious but not life-threatening” injuries after the accident in Loudoun County, Virginia.

The local sheriff’s office reported that Everett was driving his Nissan GT-R on Gum Spring Road when the vehicle turned off the road, hit several trees, and then rolled over.

Her passenger – named Olivia Peters, 29 from Las Vegas – was taken to StoneSprings Hospital Center but died of her injuries.

Everett, who is in his seventh year with Washington and the captain of their task force, has been taken to Reston Hospital and continues to be treated.

A statement from the Washington Football Team read: “We were informed of a car accident last night [Thursday] involving Deshazor Everett.

“A passenger in his vehicle lost his life and we extend our deepest condolences to family and friends who have lost a loved one.

“Deshazor is currently in hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy.

“Our team has alerted the league offices and is working with local authorities as we continue to gather more information. We will have no further comment at this time.”
