When Williams joined Oklahoma in October, he said one of the main reasons was Norman’s coaching staff and that he particularly liked it. Lincoln Riley, her boyfriend of reference Alex Grinch And Roy Manning. All three are gone now, at USC, but Williams hasn’t given up on his engagement with the Sooners as Brent Venables arrived as Oklahoma’s new head coach.

An in-home in December was important because Williams got to know Venables more. Two days later, Arkansas arrived and got a home because there was also significant interest in the Razorbacks. Some visits are still scheduled for January, but Oklahoma should still be feeling pretty good about the location with Williams.

Kanak received two dozen offers from February to July last year when coaches saw him run on the track and get a feel for his athleticism and got on board. His top list of Clemson, Michigan, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Kansas State and Alabama has been reduced to just the Tigers and he has committed to coach Dabo Swinney‘s club in late July.

But when the coach Brent Venables left Clemson to take the job of head coach of Oklahoma, Kanak gave up his engagement with Clemson shortly thereafter. There hasn’t been an official word, but the clear expectation is that Kanak will play for the Sooners. He was also spotted in the Oklahoma student directory.

The four-star athlete from Belleville, Michigan was engaged in Kentucky from late January to early August, and for many months it looked like the Wildcats had marked an out-of-state talent prospect. When coach Steve Clinkscale left the Kentucky coaching staff for Michigan, it was expected that Caldwell would flip over almost immediately and end up with the Wolverines. That didn’t happen, however, and so there are still questions as to which schools stood out for him towards the end of the period.

Michigan State was a school that had continued to show an interest in Williams, but now it’s unclear where the Spartans stand with the four-star West Bloomfield, Michigan. An injury sidelined him for most of his junior season and then things didn’t go well all of that during his senior season.

UMass offered in recent days, and new coach Don Brown he might try to steal an early lens from his time in Michigan. But things in Williams’ recruitment are still pending.

Freshman sensation TaRyan Martin was the running back star in the East St. Louis bout, but Wells was also a nice addition as he rushed for 558 yards and eight touchdowns. However, his recruitment was uneventful.

There hasn’t been a lot of discussion about where he’s going to go or which schools they might be interested in at this point, so right now his recruiting is completely up in the air.
