Sophie Habboo shared a series of snaps taken right after Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing asked her the question.
The couple, who both starred on the hit E4 show, began dating in 2019 and Jamie, 33, asked Sophie, 28, to marry him on Friday, December 17.
Both Sophie and Jamie shared a series of snaps at the time of their engagement and proudly went to social media to share their exciting news.
Jamie’s proposal took place at Rosewood London, where he and Sophie would have their first date.
Almost two weeks later, Sophie shared some additional photos from the couple’s magical evening.
In an instant, Sophie was beaming as she wore her “Mrs Laing-to-be” cap, holding a bottle of champagne and surrounded by white roses.
A second photo detailed one of the beautiful roses scattered around their hotel room, while the third photo showed the hallway lined with rose petals and tea lights, with a series of handwritten notes in envelopes in the center.
Sophie captioned the post with the date of their engagement, followed by a series of white heart-shaped emojis.
However, things soon took a turn for the worse for the couple after their romantic evening as a few days later, Sophie was rushed to the hospital.

In a snapshot shared on Instagram by Jamie, Sophie was seen hooked up to what appeared to be gas and air, as well as having an IV.
Later detailing the frightening ordeal, Jamie said in the Private Parts podcast: “It’s been wild all weekend, champagne, everything. We had a bottle of champagne and Sophie ordered oysters. We get a little drunk and go to bed that night and wake up in the morning and start doing this podcast.
“When I woke up at 5am, Sophie was throwing up in the bathroom and I thought maybe she had food poisoning.”
“We drank a lot but not exorbitant,” he continued. “Then she comes back to bed with me and falls asleep and we get up around 7:15, Sophie then starts throwing up on my shoulder.”
“I clean her and take her to the bathroom, we go down and her lips look a little blue.”
He continued: “I took her to the hospital, the hospital was full of people and I sat her down and her fingers and lips were getting more and more blue. I was trying to get people’s attention to take care of her and they said you just have to wait, but she was turning blue.
“He was crying tears on his face mask. I’ve never had a fear like that in my life. We checked his oxygen levels and he was really low. “
In the wake of Sophie’s hospital scare, the 28-year-old is believed to be better now and on the mend.
