The Kansas City Chiefs took an eighth straight win and secured a playoff spot as AFC West division champions after a 36-10 beating by a sad Pittsburgh Steelers team at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

Boswell finally put Pittsburgh on the board with a 34-yard field goal with three and a half minutes left in the third quarter, only Fry fired two more of his own kicks, one coming after a Big Ben fumble, to see Kansas City. forward 36-3.

What’s next?

The Chiefs (11-4), despite conquering AFC West, will still be looking to win their last two games as they seek to secure the conference’s # 1 seed and, as such, the home advantage through the playoffs. They are still away for the last two weeks of the season, first facing the Bengals (9-6) in Cincinnati before meeting the Broncos (7-8) in Denver.

The Steelers (7-7-1), meanwhile, are still fighting to win their division, or at least claim a spot in the Wild Cart, and have two key AFC North fights to finish as they host Cleveland for the first time. Browns (7-8) at next week’s Monday Night Football, before traveling to the Baltimore Ravens (8-7) on the last Sunday of the NFL season.
