If you’re feeling festive, we don’t blame you! The holiday season is in full swing – we’ve already got two big NFL games on Christmas Day – and the playoffs are just around the corner.
Despite some game delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, 24 teams play on Sunday. After this week’s action, there are only two weeks left until the 2021 NFL regular season, and many games will have playoff implications.
Which AFC team will succeed? Every AFC division is still up for grabs, as are all wildcard seats. Will the Dallas Cowboys attack be able to get back on track against the Washington Football Team and conquer NFC East with a win? Will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers be able to put aside injuries and secure a playoff spot with an away win against the struggling Carolina Panthers?
One thing is certain: the players are dressed and ready for the occasion. Let’s see the outfits that give us as much enthusiasm as the games of Week 16.
Finding faith
Even at 7-7, the Philadelphia Eagles can still make the playoffs, but a win over the New York Giants on Sunday is crucial. Quarterback Jalen Hurts is showing off the jersey of the Eagles’ great Randall Cunningham, hoping it will give his team an extra boost.

Holiday clothing
If in doubt, wear a Christmas sweater. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is feeling jubilant ahead of his team’s big fight against the Baltimore Ravens, which could very well decide the AFC North title. Burrow’s teammate CJ Uzomah also received the reminder about the holiday attire.
Atlanta Falcons linebacker Foye Oluokun was also feeling the holiday spirit.
And it might not be a holiday top, but A’Shawn Robinson’s Kobe 6 “Grinch” colorways definitely matter.

One last word
Carolina Panthers Safety Jeremy Chinn wore the jerseys and gear of North Carolina and South Carolina sports icons throughout the season for home games. So it’s no surprise that Chinn pulled out the jersey for former Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. for the team’s home final.
