The center n. 1 of the 2023 class is ready to announce a college decision and has dropped to three finalists. Auburn (Ala.) Four-star Bradyn Joiner has cut his list in Auburn, Georgia and Penn State and will announce his choice on December 31st. Joiner has been a fixture on the recruiting scene over the past year, making multiple visits and camping out at various schools over the summer. But with his junior season in the books, Joiner is ready to decide and has sat down with Rivals.com to take down his finalists.
IN HIS WORDS
Georgia: “Georgia is the best team in the nation right now. Kirby Smart is doing a great job of recruiting and everything about the program is great. I really like the campus environment, the people there and the overall feel. If you’ve ever been visiting there then you know it’s a great place to stay. ”
Auburn: “It’s my hometown school. Just down the road from my family and they have been recruiting me hard for a long time. Coach Harsin is building something there and I feel they can be a great program over the next couple of years.”
State of Pennsylvania: “I love the Penn State culture. They have a great environment there and the whiteout game was really impressive. The coaches are also great and they’ve recruited me really hard.”
REACTION OF RIVALS
Many thought Joiner was inclined to Georgia early in the process, but as time went on the Auburn staff did a great job building a relationship with him and his family. It will be hard to get Joiner away from home for both the Bulldogs and Penn State, but we’ll have to wait until New Years to find out.
