Men’s Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 Street Style

Paris Fashion Week ended as a star-studded affair for the Fall / Winter 2022 season.

As fashion week continues to grow in the days of COVID, this season has been nostalgic to remember. Among the catalogs presented at PFW, Louis Vuitton unveiled its latest Virgil Abloh collection, bringing to life the late designer’s last dream in an archive show in honor of a tribute. Concluding the week, KENZO ushered in a new era when NIGO debuted his collection as the fashion house’s creative director. Some of the culture’s biggest fashion icons, including Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Tyler, the Creator, showed their best interpretations of understated elegance on the streets of Paris as they attended the biggest shows of the week.

Spectators this season have shown that less is more. Many outfits paired with one or two simple pieces of effect, whether it’s a bold accessory like a snakeskin, a Dior saddle with a simply tailored suit, a checkered overcoat dressed over a black and white sweater and a pair of trousers, or simply a floral patterned sweater over the trousers, the attendees once again set the trend for minimalism. Down jackets and vests have been a popular choice this season, both for their functionality and comfort. Box leather jackets were common, however, the style was distinguished by color accents and simple patchwork designs. Relaxed tailoring has still proved a popular choice with both male and female viewers.
