Ellie and George went public with their relationship last summer, and in the wake of that, Ellie has become … flooded with horrific anti-Semitic abuses.
Responding to trolls being cruel to her, Alex re-shared a lengthy statement written by Ellie on Instagram in which she said “things have to change.”

Her post read, “Here are a handful of shocking messages I received about my family heritage, from some ignorant trolls. I had no intention of posting this, but I have seen a lot of anti-Semitism recently and not talked about enough and I am shocked by the silence of the majority in the wake of the very recent anti-Semitism.
“Jews have been persecuted for hundreds of years and it’s still NOT okay. I couldn’t be more proud of my family heritage and on that note, I urge people to educate themselves before committing a hate crime.
“THINK before you send a horrible message. THINK before being cruel to someone else for no reason.”
