Forever kind of love! Lindsay Lohan surprised fans when she announced her engagement to Bader Shammas in November 2021, after keeping their relationship very confidential for two years.
The Bad Girls star was first linked to the businessman in 2019 after moving to Dubai five years earlier. Lohan opened up about what the man of her dreams was like in 2019, but didn’t say if she’d already found someone who would fit the bill.
“I want to date a guy who is a businessman – he doesn’t have Instagram, he doesn’t have social media and he’s completely out of the box in terms of that sort of thing,” the Georgia rules the actress said Howard Stern at the time. “I think it will happen when it should happen.”
It wasn’t until February 2020 that Lohan shared a photo of her man via social media. “Such a magical night,” he wrote alongside a snapshot of her, Shammas, and a group of their friends. The photo was then deleted.
Two months later, the Confessions of a teenage dramatic queen the mother of the star, Dina Lohan, confirmed a Us Weekly that Lindsay was romantically in a solid place.
The host of the podcast “Listen to Me, The OG Mama D With Dina Lohan and Chanel Omari” said exclusively We that Lindsay was dating a “wonderful boy”, but noted that she was in “no rush” for her daughter to settle down.
Lindsay, who was previously engaged to a Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov from 2016 to 2017, she officially debuted her relationship with Shammas in November 2021. At the time, she revealed that she had asked the question and said yes.
“My love. My life. My family. My future. @ Bader.shammas #love 💍,” captioned a series of photos of the smiling couple. The Life size the actress also showed off her Harry Winston diamond ring in blissful shots.
His brother Dakota Lohan he was quick to respond to the happy news, writing: “My best friends !!!” The model then re-shared her sister’s engagement photos via her Instagram Story, captioning them: “I’m not crying, you’re crying.”
