Kate Middleton shares son George’s favourite TV show as he has episode dedicated

Prince George is such a fan of a children’s TV show that its creators have made a special episode dedicated to the royal.

The eight-year-old’s parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, revealed that their son was such a fan of Fireman Sam that the show made an episode inspired by him.

Kate Middleton told BBC Radio One that “firefighter Sam took a lot of interest” in their family.

So when the children’s series celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2017, it released an episode called “The Prince in Pontypandy,” which told the story of a prince who comes to visit Sam’s fire station.

The fictional city of Wales is filled with excitement when real visitors come and the Pontypandy firefighters are given the responsibility of organizing the event.

Things get tough, however, when a character falls into a ravine, but the day is saved when the prince unexpectedly arrives to the rescue by helicopter.

This is thought to be a nod to the time when Prince William was working as a pilot with the RAF Search and Rescue and the actual characters appearing in the episode are based on Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince George.

Prince George, third in line to the throne, recently appeared with his parents and siblings – Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three – on the family’s Christmas card in Jordan.

It comes after it was revealed that the Prince is a huge fan of Italian food.

However, according to famed chef Aldo Zilli, he is quite fond of Italian cuisine, but a classic Margherita pizza isn’t his favorite meal, like most eight-year-olds.

Aldo spoke on several occasions with George’s father, Prince William, and in the course of their conversations learned of George’s love for spaghetti carbonara.

“[William’s] unbelievable – I’m waiting for the call because apparently, her baby’s favorite is spaghetti carbonara, so I’m waiting for the call to go cook it for him, “Aldo told Femail.

“If George has my carbonara, he’ll never have another one, so I have to go and prepare it, let’s get started, send me to the palace to cook!”
