Jared Anderson demolishes Oleksandr Teslenko with a destructive knockout in the second round in New York | Boxing News

Jared Anderson demolished Oleksandr Teslenko with a devastating one-punch knockout to enhance his reputation as America’s most exciting heavyweight contender.

The undefeated 22-year-old dumped a huge right hand that dropped Teslenko heavily to the canvas as Anderson extended his destructive record, with all 11 wins by stoppage.

Anderson has already been hailed as a future world champion by Tyson Fury, who fought with the dangerous boxer before his recent win over Deontay Wilder.

Showing his speed, Anderson sent stiff jabs from a southpaw stance and caught Teslenko with a short right hook in the opening round.

Anderson eliminated all 11 of his opponents

Moving on to orthodoxy, Anderson quickly readjusted his aim in the second, delivering a booming right that ripped through Teslenko’s defenses to dramatically end the bout.

Promoter Bob Arum has revealed he intends to accelerate Anderson’s progression towards a title fight.

“Jared will be fighting big names next year,” Arum told Sky Sports.

“He’s a young man, he’s only 22 and I think he’s the future of the heavyweight division.

“Jared has great skills but also great habits. He is an athlete in the true sense of the word.”
