Intro To Fashion Design For Youth | Coronado Island News

Tracey Herriot of Clicbitz will present a free introduction to fashion design for teenagers on Thursday 13 January from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library. The workshop is open to young people aged 11 to 17.

Teens will learn to recycle denim to complement their flared pants or denim jackets. They will learn how to use a sewing machine, sew a straight stitch, sew patches, and make their own fashion designs.

Attendees should bring an old pair of jeans or a cheap pair from the thrift store. Alternatively, they can bring a denim piece of clothing (skirt, shorts) or choose from a selection of denim jackets provided.
