Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd have left the UK for a sunny holiday in the exotic Maldives with Ferne McCann expected to join them for Christmas.
The Mummy Diaries stars invited fans along the way via Billie’s social media channels where she shared many updates.
Sending from the airport, the family vowed they would leave to “create good memories” during their festive vacation.
Seven-year-old Nellie and four-year-old Arthur seemed particularly excited to leave Essex for the warmer climate of the luxury islands with their cousins.

The family stays at the 5 * Siyam World Maldives resort which prides itself on being “a carefree playground”.
Billie, 31, shared a shot of the beach with the caption: “A taxi .. plane and seaplane later… We did it! It was a difficult start to the year. Here’s to making many wonderful memories to see the year out. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. “
TOWIE cast colleague Georgia Kousoulou was among the first to comment, saying “Aww have fun” at the photo showing the white sand beach.
Billie and Greg’s ‘tough year’ was spent renovating their £ 1.4 million Essex home, which was less straightforward than they hoped when they bought the property.
The couple, who openly discussed the various problems they had with the renovations, were delighted upon arrival at the property.
However, they faced major problems with neighbors regarding planning permits for various changes and updates they intended to make.

In a recent episode of The Mummy Diaries, Billie confided to her close friend Ferne McCann about another serious “hiccup” with their ambitious house plans.
Ferne is also planning to join the family over the holidays and asked for advice on entertaining four-year-old daughter Sunday during the flight.
This comes after Billie and Greg exclusively open up to OK! about how their “stressful” move had understandably led to tensions in the house.

When asked if they had any disagreements while filming the series, Billie confessed, “It’s very stressful. Doing the house remodel is literally a full-time job in itself.”
“It’s another workload and it causes a lot of tension and pressure. The renovation of the house has caused some rifts between us.”
Greg agreed with his wife, adding, “Decisions have to be made, and if you don’t, there will be a backlog with the builder – and that has a ripple effect. So, it causes a row.”

But the couple went on to say that they had gone through a big trial with their home and were hoping to move in early next year if all goes well.
The reality star said, “It’s really getting together now. We probably won’t be there until February, maybe March, next year.”
Billie added: “We went there recently and for the first time I felt like I saw a house.
“I had that excited feeling. It was a really long process, but in the end it will be worth it.”
