Every show in Harry Styles’s Love on tour it offered much more than just music. The performances also became a fashion show, where Styles dresses up in custom Gucci suits and his fans in equally theatrical outfits. On a few occasions, like Styles’ Harryween shows, the singer even encouraged a specific dress code for his fans to abide by (and nailed it). The tour was the perfect image of music, fashion and fun, but Styles also killed the fashion game offstage.
While Styles has always had a penchant for fashion, this year has seen the singer master and cultivate his performance style. Working with Alessandro Michele of Gucci, the couple came up with several designs that shone throughout the tour. He took the stage in a glittery tinsel-style vest (worn shirtless, of course) and skinny, metallic shirts worn with suspenders and flared pants. For her Halloween shows, she dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, and like a seriously chic ghost in a ruffled white dress.
Styles didn’t hit many red carpets this year, but on the occasions he did, Styles provided a memorable fit. At this year’s Grammys, she sparked the fandom by wearing a checkered Gucci blazer with a lavender boa. That evening he wore a leather suit with a green boa for his performance; Both looks became a popular Halloween costume this year. At the Brit Awards, Styles channeled the ’70s with a wallpaper print dress from Gucci, complete with a bamboo handle bag and sleek boots. The singer’s style only seems to get better every year, so let’s get ready for what 2022 has in store.
