Former Gogglebox star Paige Deville told fans she is spending Christmas Day alone for the first time this year.
The 25-year-old, who left the Channel 4 show following a family feud earlier this year, let fans know she remained “positive” in an Instagram post shared.
Paige also explained that she hopes her honesty “will help other people in the same situation.”
She wrote on Instagram: “For many reasons I am spending Christmas day alone this year.
“A first time for everything, but I’m positive and my plan is to eat, drink, listen to music, watch movies and have fun.”

“If anyone is in the same boat, leave me a message, don’t feel alone and let’s use social media to their advantage,” Paige continued.
“Remember that God creates his strongest soldiers by giving them the toughest battles.
Paige left Gogglebox in September after an argument with her mother, Sally, with whom she appeared on the show for two years.
Announcing her decision to leave the program, Paige said, “It was an experience but I can’t continue due to the long hours of filming, the restriction, the control of our actions and opinions and the zero after-care support, but who cares about the former cast, their NTA winners. “
Channel 4 responded with a statement that read, “The well-being of contributors – past and present – is of paramount importance and robust protocols are in place to support contributors before, during and after joining the series.”
Paige later told Birmingham Live: “My mom said she wouldn’t be shooting Gogglebox again. The show offered me the opportunity to work with another family member, but I didn’t want to work with anyone else. My mom and I we had started the journey together and I wasn’t going to shoot with anyone else.
“Besides, I had really had enough of the shoot. I work many hours running my recruiting business and all of the shooting was getting too much.”
He discussed the feud with his mother in a series of late night tweets, writing in October: “: To clarify, people think I got into a fight with my mom over the box of glasses, my ‘mom’ is an absolute. shame I would never want to talk to again due to a serious family problem NOT related to a TV show. “
Sally did not respond to her daughter’s claims.
