Tottenham Women have signed Finnish national team midfielder Eveliina Summanen.
Summanen has signed a contract until 2023 in North London, where he will link up with international teammate Tinja-Riikka Korpela. The agreement also includes an extension option for a further 12 months.
He has spent the past two years at Swedish side Kristianstads DFF, making 43 starts and scoring five goals during that period.
Spurs, who are third in the women’s Super League and five points behind leaders Arsenal, will be strengthened by the arrival of an experienced national team, with Summanen boasting 34 caps for Finland since his 2017 debut.
