Travis Kelce scored on Patrick Mahomes’ 34-yard pass in extra time and the Kansas City Chiefs reunited for a 34-28 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kelce received a touchdown pass from 7 yards to 1:16 from the end of the fourth quarter, then finished the game with his catch-and-run in overtime.
On first-and-10, Kelce pulled in Mahomes’ pass on 30 and escaped two tackles en route to the end zone, where he was overrun by teammates.
Mahomes finished 31 of 47 for a season-high of 410 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Kelce received 10 receptions for 191 yards and two touchdowns, the best result of his career.
Tyreek Hill received 14 receptions for 148 yards.
The savage quarter-quarter saw the Chiefs down by eight and down by seven, but scored touchdowns every time they got the ball to force overtime.
Kansas City is now two games ahead of the Chargers in AFC West with three games to go.
