Some Bachelor Nation divisions hit harder than others.
After months of speculation, Becca Kufrin confirmed in September 2020 that she and Garrett Yrigoyen concluded their engagement.
“I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement,” Bachelorette Season 14 said on her “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. “After many conversations, we came to this decision. It wasn’t something we only got to one night, ”he continued. “It wasn’t based solely on an Instagram post or someone else’s opinion or comments. There is so much more. In every relationship there are many layers, and it’s not up to me to divulge the details. It’s nobody’s business except what I’m telling you right now. “
The two got engaged in the August 2018 finale of The bachelorette party. Fans knew there was trouble in heaven after Kufrin recorded a thrilling episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” about Yrigoyen’s support of the police amid the Black Lives Matter movement in June 2020 with the cohost Rachel Lindsay.
“Just because we’ve come to this decision now doesn’t take away all the years and countless memories we’ve made together,” said Kufrin. “I will always remember this moment in my life with so much gratitude and love”.
At the beginning of 2020, Colton Underwood And Cassie Randolph called closes. The duo met and fell in love while filming season 23 of The bachelor, aired in 2019.
“Cassie and Colton have a great friendship, but that’s what it’s been like for most of their relationship,” a source said. We. “They just made good partners and really great friends. Colton and Cassie’s friends knew this was going to happen for a while, they were basically just roommates towards the end. “
The two have vowed to remain friends in their respective statements about their separation.
“Colton and I broke up, but we decided to stay a part of each other [sic] lives. With everything we’ve been through, we have a special bond that will always be there, ”Randolph wrote on May 29.
Underwood added: “Sometimes people are meant to be just friends – and that’s okay. We’ve both grown immensely and have been through so much together, so this isn’t the end of our story, it’s the beginning of a whole new chapter for us. “
The exes then stopped following each other on social media after Randolph accused Underwood of trying to monetize their separation. He declared himself gay in 2021.
That same year he marked many divisions for the show, with Clare Crawley And Dale Moss, Tayshia Adams And Zac Clark, Katie Thurston And Blake Moynes all ending their respective commitments.
The bachelor franchise has been matchmaking since 2002. In 2003, Trista Rehn And Ryan Sutter became the first Bachelor Nation couple to walk down the aisle. The two, who met while filming the first season of bachelorette party, she turned 18 years of marriage in December 2021.
