If you were monitoring social media for any signs of what Antonio Brown might have been thinking on Sunday afternoon, we’re not sure you got it.
The wide receiver stripped only of his football pants and waved a peace sign to the crowd after Bruce Arians reportedly told him to leave the Tampa Bay game against the New York Jets. The Buccaneers head coach told reporters that Brown’s days with the team ended after the win. Security thought he was a die-hard fan. It was all one thing.
Brown’s future in the NFL once again remains unclear. But for all those performance-based contractual incentives he lost thanks to his departure, maybe he’ll make up for it with the money from advertising on Instagram?
That’s not too far-fetched considering the most recent photo on her Instagram is a sponsored post for the Fashion Nova men’s line. He worked with the fast fashion brand for a while, signaling that the promotion may have been planned ahead of time. But the accompanying message is perfect.
“Football is what we do, not who we are,” Brown wrote in a caption, appropriately enough.
Just before that, she used both Twitter and Instagram to show off her pre-match outfit.
