Anna Nightingale and her boyfriend Daren Dixon recently welcomed their baby daughter Ava Noelle to the world, and in an exclusive interview with OK!, the couple opened up about the birth.
Ava’s arrival was different from that of their eldest daughter Autumn, now 4, and Anna revealed the appropriate female power anthem she was playing when Ava was born.
“Fortunately, everything went well during the pregnancy, but I started to have pain around the site of the previous scar: I gave birth in the fall with the cesarean while she was breech,” explained Anna.

He continued: “Ava was upside down, so the doctors said it was up to me. I wanted to go for a more natural birth, but I thought, ‘Follow what your body tells you.’
“We ultimately opted for a caesarean, as Ava is past her due date. It was delivered by an all-female team who played Beyoncé’s Run The World (Girls) as they gave birth to our baby girl.
“To this day, I have never had water breakdowns or contractions. As long as your baby arrives safe and sound, though, that’s all that matters.
“We both felt even braver,” says Anna. “We asked to see a little more this time. I remember Ava leaving, while with Autumn it was all a bit confusing.”

Daren – who was present throughout the entire delivery – added: “It was fascinating and something I will treasure forever. I have seen it all! I have been so much braver than usual. Blood and all that is not for me, so. I’m surprised I didn’t pass out. “
The couple admitted that there were many tears at birth.
“She looked so much like Autumn, but she was still her little character. I’ve always been like, ‘I could never love a little girl as much as we love Autumn’, but you develop a whole new bottle of love when another comes along.” Daren told us.

Anna added: “We couldn’t wait to see what he looked like, if he looked a lot like Autumn or if he looked more like Mom or Dad.
“She started crying when they put her on the scales, but she was happy when she came out and she looked like a little soul the moment we laid eyes on her. It was fantastic.”
Anna and Darren enjoyed their first Christmas with their two little girls last year and revealed they are looking forward to spending more time as a family in 2022.
