Apple iPad finally getting serious competition from South Korea. Samsung has just officially presents Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab. Not just a tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab is also equipped with a phone function.
“This is not just another tablet. We call it a Smart Media device,” Thomas Richter, Samsung’s head of product portfolio, told a packed press conference at the at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab P1000 is offered with two choices of color, black and gray. Weight is much lighter than the iPad because wrapped solid plastic material, only 380 grams, with smaller dimension 19 x 12 x 1.2 cm.
