How to Keep a Blog Post on the Front Page For Longer on WordPress

If you are using WordPress as your blogging platform and you want to be able to keep a post on the front page for a longer period of time then there are a few different things that you can do. Having a post that stays on the front page for a longer period of time means that your main site URL will get the keyword love that the individual post is getting which may help you to get more website visitors. If you want your post to stay on the front page instead of being bumped to a post page then make sure that you follow these few simple steps.

One thing that you can do is change the number of posts that your blog will display on the blog pages. If you have your WordPress blog set up to show the posts on the front page instead of showing a static home page then you will want to make sure that you change the number of posts that are being displayed if you want more than ten. By default the number of posts that your blog is set to show on the homepage is ten. (more…)

The purpose is apart from driving traffics, to get your latest articles indexed quickly by search engines

Where to put them?
1. After login -> Setting -> Writing -> Update Services
