Israeli troops provocations against Lebanon!

A Lebanese security source as quoted by DPA news agency said Israeli troops opened fire on Lebanese territory on Wednesday (1 / 11).

” .. Israeli troops provocations against Lebanon! by firing shots into the border region “

The sound of gunfire coming from the machine guns from the direction of Israeli positions in the two border post of Al-Sammaqa and Rwaisat Al-Alam; border posts located between the Lebanon-Syria and the occupied Palestinian territory.

There were no reported casualties in the incident. Sources in the UN peacekeeping force stationed in southern Lebanon said it was investigating the actions of Israeli troops shot that made it into Lebanese territory (more…)

Israel female soldiers uncovered lie on Facebook

The number of Israeli women who lied about his religion to make local government using Facebook to reveal these lies. In Israel, many women who began refusing to perform compulsory military service. Absence of the women are mostly used for religious reasons.

To reveal whether or not these women a religious Jewish, the military finally hired investigators to monitor the social networking site. And finally this investigation is succeeded. They said  the observation on Facebook,  as 1,000 women were discovered had lied about his religiousness.

As quoted from the Washington Post, Tuesday (23/11/2010), an Israeli official said it did find a woman who was caught lie after seeing the photo that  she was carrying a menu of non-kosher restaurant on Facebook. (more…)

Fidel Castro Firmly Backs Israel’s Right to Exist

Fidel Castro, the longtime president and leftist icon who stepped aside during a health crisis but still leads the Cuban Communist Party, has told a reporter that Israel definitely has the right to exist.

“Yes it does, without a doubt,” Castro, 84, told visiting US journalist Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic magazine, according to a new article published Wednesday.

In the same interview Castro criticized Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for denying the Holocaust and said in an interview Tehran should acknowledge Israel’s fears for its own survival. (more…)

Israel to Allow Cars into Gaza for First Time since 2007

GAZA CITY – Israeli authorities were to allow some 20 cars to be transported into Gaza on Monday, the first such shipment in more than three years, the military said. The decision to allow some 20 passenger vehicles to enter was taken in June amid international outrage over the deadly seizure of a Gaza-bound aid fleet but was held up by red tape and rocket attacks, a spokesman said.

Major Guy Inbar of the military’s Gaza liaison office said there had been “several problems” in coordinating the shipment with the Western-backed Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, without providing further details. Kouchner and Hague pressure Israel over Gaza

The EU could play a bigger role in ensuring aid gets into Gaza and weapons are kept out, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner has said.

He urged Israel to accept an international probe into the deaths of nine activists on a Turkish aid ship. He spoke alongside UK Foreign Secretary William Hague, who said Europe would maintain pressure on Israel.  Israel, which blockades Gaza over fears of rocket attacks, has ruled out international involvement in any probe. The deaths a week ago sparked global condemnation but defiance from Israel, which insists it has the right to defend itself.

Another aid ship, the Irish-owned Rachel Corrie, was intercepted by Israel on Saturday and officials have begun deporting its crew and activists.

‘Transparency’ needed

In response to criticism that Europe had not taken enough action, Mr Kouchner said the EU was willing to check cargo on ships going into Gaza, and to play more of a role in controlling the Rafah border crossing from Egypt to Gaza. (more…)
