Dominique Strauss-Kahn paid for prostitutes, only for them to complain that he ‘behaved like an animal’, one of America’s most infamous madams claims. Kristin Davis, who claims to have had dozens of celebrities among the 10,000 clients on her books, said Strauss-Kahn used her Wicked Models escort agency twice in 2006.

She told the Daily Mail that he was introduced to her by Irma Nici, a Bosnian prostitute who said he had been one of her clients in Paris. Nici has previously made headlines by claiming she had had an affair with David Beckham – allegations that the footballer denied. (more…)

There is no immunity for Strauss-Kahn’s cases of rape

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday (17 / 5) said that Strauss-Kahn, who was imprisoned in New York because of allegations of sexual violence, have no immunity. The condition was confirmed regardless of his position as managing director of global institutions.

“Immunity MD (Dominique) is limited and does not apply to this case,” IMF spokesman William Murray said in a statement. (more…)

Rape Allegations againts the IMF managing director.

The presence of IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn to face charges of sexual assault in a hotel room has been delayed, waiting for him to undergo medical examination.

The authorities get a court order to examine Strauss-Kahn, including researching indication of injuries on his body. Appropriate recognition of the victim, he fought with the claw. Investigators find traces of DNA under the nails or accusers in the skin. (more…)

Indonesia Still Fight Against Corruption: IMF

Foreign investors are still prudent on their expansion plans in Indonesia

Corruption, the weak governance, as well as legal uncertainty are still the major obstacles for Indonesia to improve its economy according to an annual report presented by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) published today, September 16.

In the report, the IMF recommended Indonesia to cope with the obstacles mainly on corruption issues.

According to the IMF, the potentials are there. “As one of the countries in Southeast Asia that records solid economic growth, Indonesia in 2009 registered 4.5 percent of economic growth. This is deemed the third fastest amongst any G-20 countries”

However, foreign investors are still prudent on their expansion plans in Indonesia as they will await further measures taken by the government against corruption. (more…)
