Thousands dollars of money obtained from Google AdWords, the click of a Mac users infected with Flashback trojan.

Flashback Trojan able to direct Google search engine results to other pages that have been chosen, so that the virus each time the user who “dropped” onto the page, then money flowed. It able to bring up a pop up as if sent officially by Apple Inc. that forces the user to fine to click the pop up. For each link is clicked, the attacker gained 0.8 U.S. cents from Google AdWords.

SOPA protest swells as Google, Scribd, and WordPress join

Google will join Wednesday’s protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act, linking to anti-SOPA information on the firm’s US home page.

“Like many businesses, entrepreneurs and web users, we oppose these bills because there are smart, targeted ways to shut down foreign rogue websites without asking American companies to censor the Internet,” a Google spokesman told Ars. “So tomorrow we will be joining many other tech companies to highlight this issue on our US home page.” (more…)
