New fears arise from nuclear leak in Japan’s Fukushima plant hit by the tsunami disaster a few months ago. It was seen after a rabbit was born near the nuclear facility. But what makes it strange is born without a pair of rabbit ears.

The Japanese Nuclear Radiation trail was found in China

Chinese authorities found traces of nuclear radiation from nuclear power Japan. Radiation was found in most parts of China.

Authorities have reported a low-level radiation in the form of radioactive iodine-131. Radioactive was detected in the air over Heilongjiang, northeastern provinces during the weekend.


In a notice on its Web site Tuesday (29 / 3), China Environmental Protection Department said the traces were found on top of the southeast of Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Guangdong and Guangxi. (more…)

The Japanese nuclear reactor exploding again

The Japanese authorities have revealed the existence of hydrogen explosion in a complex Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) at Fukushima Dai-ichi today.

The explosion was similar to incident that happened in the same nuclear power plant on Saturday last week, but in a different reactor.

A series of massive earthquakes have struck north-east Japan, unleashing a 10-metre tsunami that swept buildings, vehicles, crops and debris across swaths of farmland.

Indonesia Should Learn from The Twin Disasters

Indonesia has been devastated by a second natural disaster as the region’s most volatile volcano erupted, killing more than 30 people, just hours after an earthquake and tsunami claimed a minimum of 300 lives. Hundreds more people are missing in the wake of the earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, which sparked a 10-foot high Tsunami that smashed over several islands and washed hundreds of homes into the sea.

Indonesian authorities were struggling to cope with the aftermath of the 7.7-magnitude earthquake, with rescuers struggling to reach the Mentawai islands, closest to the epicenter, because of strong winds and rough seas.
Padang Sumatra is on the same stretch of coastline as Aceh, the epicentre for the tsunami on Boxing Day 2004, when 200,000 people in 13 countries were killed. At least 128,000 people died in Indonesia alone. (more…)
