The Japanese nuclear reactor exploding again

The Japanese authorities have revealed the existence of hydrogen explosion in a complex Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) at Fukushima Dai-ichi today.

The explosion was similar to incident that happened in the same nuclear power plant on Saturday last week, but in a different reactor.

According to the Associated Press news agency, dense smoke visible from the No. 3 nuclear reactor Fukushima Dai-ichi.

The reactor is already inof emergency state since Saturday last week, or the day after the earthquake and tsunami off the coast of northeast Japan, because it could exploding at any time after suffering damage to the cooling device. Reactor unit 1 previously has exploded last Saturday.

The authorities anticipate that the explosion at the nuclear power plant could lead to large-scale radioactive leaks. Because the radiation levels around nuclear power plants had been many times greater than normal levels.

There is now more than 180,000 people had been evacuated from around the NPP. However, 160 people are thought to have been exposed to radioactive radiation.
