Launching iPhone 5 by Apple

Apple is planning to release an iPhone 5 as early as September. The model is likely to include a faster computer chip and a more advanced camera.

The company is also reported to be testing a version of the iPad with a higher resolution screen. The release of the iPhone 5 in just a few months could add millions more sales to the technology firm’s range of smartphones. The iPhone is Apple’s top seller. (more…)

The K -’kei’, Japan’s Supercomputers

THE K ‘Kei’ -After the indignity of seeing its economy overtaken by China’s earlier this year, Japan has clawed back a little pride, beating its east Asian rival to produce the world’s most powerful computer for the first time in seven years.

The machine, nicknamed K – a play on the Japanese word kei, meaning 10 quadrillion, the number of operations per second it is designed to perform when it is completed next year – crushed the opposition when the latest rankings were announced at the International Supercomputing conference at Hamburg. Motorola introduces its newest product, MOTO XT882. He claimed to be the first Android phone that carries a dual core, dual mode dual standby at the same time.
